Hello everyone!
On my way to Corkscrew Swamp yesterday, I had to stop at Alligator Alley for some photography. It was around 7:00 am and a very foggy morning, just perfect!
For those of my followers and visitors that are not familiar with Alligator Alley, this is interstate I-75, the road that crosses the state between Fort Lauderdale and Naples, FL. On both sides of the road are canals lined where there’s wildlife. As you can see in some of my photos, this is an open place where American Alligator and American crocodiles are plentiful. If you stop at one of the rest areas with boat ramps like I did, you will them very up close and personal!

Breathtaking photos! Especially enjoyed the white bird hovering over the water.

Not an owl. It’s a juvenile hawk, probably red-shouldered.

I really wish we had been able to get down to this area when we were in Florida – it sounds and looks amazing. Oh well, we will just have to come back!
