Hello!
A quick stop at Quechee Gorge Village in Vermont, took me to this small Alpaca farm.
Interesting facts…Alpacas are well known for it’s soft, smooth, and hypoallergenic FLEECE. According to National Geographic, alpaca fur is the second strongest animal fiber, after mohair. Alpacas don’t have teeth in the top-front of their mouths. This gives them the appearance of having an underbite.

Alpacas seem to be very peaceful animals.

They have such lovely sweet faces.
Apparently they make good ‘guards’ for other smaller animal herds too.
