Everglades National Park is the third largest park in the lower 48 states, covering 2,400 square miles. The admission cost to this park is $25 a car, good for seven days. Options for the active family range from canoeing, kayaking, fishing, boating, hiking on boardwalks and trails, and bird watching. If you think that you can handle walking two or three feet away from alligators IN THE WILD!, a visit to Shark Valley will let you experience that! I walked the path lined with alligators and survived!

Wonderful series of photos (although I’d give the alligator walk a miss) 🙂
