The Jardin du Luxembourg
The garden belongs to Luxembourg Palace built for Marie de’ Medici, mother of king Louis XIII in 1612. Today, the garden is famous for its calm atmosphere and, it is a popular destination for relaxation for Parisians

The Medici Fountain was built in about 1630 by Marie de’ Medici, the widow of King Henry IV of France and regent of King Louis XIII of France.
