from my kayak…lake worth lagoon

The Snook Islands, in Lake Worth Lagoon, are part of the 118-acre wetland restoration project by the environment resource management team in Palm Beach County. This project has created 11 acres of mangroves and 2 acres of oyster reefs within the Lake Worth Lagoon. As a result, the return of wildlife, birds and marine life has increased in the area, becoming a favorite spot for both Manatees and kayakers! https://discover.pbcgov.org/erm/NaturalAreas/Snook-Islands.aspx
