Alaska Wildlife conservation center…

The impulse to travel is one of the hopeful symptoms of life

Agnes Repplier

Just an hour from Anchorage is the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. A 200 acres campus involved in the conservation of the once thought extinct Wood Bison, black and brown bears, moose, elk, lynx, caribou, muskox, reindeer, wolves, foxes, deer, and more. It is a great for family with kids or photography lovers!

This boardwalk is the only place where you can get close enough to bears and photograph them without running away!
